You are here
By car
We’ll be honest: Leuven was built for pedestrians and horse carts, not for cars. We strongly recommend you park your car in parking Ladeuze – we’ll give you a reduced rate (9 EUR per 24 hours, see here for the full explanation) and walk the rest of your stay here. Parking Ladeuze is signposted from the Leuven ring road, you’ll be driving into town via the big crossroad called Tiensepoort.
There’s vehicle access to the hostel too, of course:
- Leuven ring road – drive into town at the Tiensepoort (Blijde Inkomststraat)
- At the traffic lights on Blijde Inkomststraat (some 100s of meters into town) turn right (Maria Theresiastraat – the woman who banned fairs from Belgium!)
- First left (Bogaardenstraat) and first right (Ravenstraat); we’re the red building at number 37.
A printable version of these directions can be found here.
